Why would you expect this? First you are using inspection points with an 01 inspection type I think since the lot number starts with a 1 and that is standard SAP numbering. Unless you have changed it. Inspection points were originally designed to only be used with 03 lots for inprocess testing. It was only later that you can use it for other inspection types. Physical samples is similar to inspection points and you can use those with other inspection types.
But in your case, you must of received in 315, so that is always going to be the number to inspect. Jut because you choose to use inspection points, doesn't mean SAP is designed to track the remaining amounts across your sampling points. It was never designed for that.
I can see how you would want to use this as it appears your inspection spans multiuple shifts and you want to track the inspection by number of units inspected each shift and have the number of units still to be inspected to decrement after completion of each point.
I'm not sure there is a good way to do that.
There are ways to create your own sampling procedure calulations. in config, you set up a new sampling type using a samplin scheme. Then create a new sampling scheme. Instead of using FM QDRS_SAMPLING_PLAN_SAMPLE you would copy that FM to a new FM. Then insert your own logic into that custom FM. You would need a sharp progammer I believe but I think you should be able change the total sample qty by subtracting the qty already tested in previous inspection points from the quantity of the inspection lot passed in. I don't think doing this hurt the final UD process.

SAP IDM 8 -- error "User could not be found in Identity Management database" while using Eclipse
Hi All,
I've installed a new SAP IDM 8.0 system. When i try to login to SAP Identity Management database from Eclipse tool, it throws the error "User could not be found in Identity Management database".
Here are the list of steps which i've performed on the server till now:

| 2. Define JDBC layer for JMX Communication (MSSQL2012) |
| 3. Adding the Identity Management Database as a Data Source (DevStudio) |
| 4. Create Data Source (IDM_DataSource) |
| 5. Install Developer Studio |

Request you to let me know if there are any checks to be done to resolve this issue.

Hi Cristina,
The reason for this sorting is because the merged column would be a character field. Thus the sorting would be a combination of the number and text value.
If you require the sorting to be based purely on the ascending order of the number, create a duplicate dimension with only the numeric field (if not present already). When you sort the numeric dimension, your merged column will rearrange automatically.

We should have an active support account and that is what I am trying to ascertain. In my company developers are not granted access to any of the support accounts/logins. And when I go through our helpdesk, they tell me 4081 is the latest available to them. If they are correct, then I need to inform them that they should check on our license/support agreement. That is why I was checking with other developers on the forum.

Calculo SDI Incorrecto en reingresos mismo año

Estoy adaptándome al modulo HCM y quisiera pedirles su ayuda respecto a un proceso incorrecto en el calculo del SDI.
Se trata de lo siguiente:
El salario diario integrado se está calculando incorrectamente solo para los empleados que hayan sido baja y reingreso el mismo año, al momento de calcularlo el sistema toma en cuenta la antigüedad antigua del empleado, en vez de tomar la actual. Si el empleado tiene 6 días de vacaciones por año, lo toma por 14 días por haber tenido 4 años de antigüedad y esto hace que me arroje un dato incorrecto.

Just a quick question - How you figured out that it's RFC timeout issue and that it's value is 30 mins?
SAP Gateway service name is correct only i.e. sapgw09. It can't be gateway service name issue because the data is anyway getting extracted and loading to target.
Also what about RFC Trace log?

1. Will the old planned orders get automatically firmed if their date becomes older than today's date? Means till the date becomes older than the current today's date, will they not be firmed. Or they will be firmed even when created? What is the logic based on which these planned orders get firmed.
2. Once firmed, the planned orders cannot be changed by MRP run. That is why we have to delete them as the only possible option?
2. Although the planned order dates become old and can be deleted, the requirements date will still remain old and cannot be changed.Once old planned orders are deleted, what dates will the new orders will be scheduled.

SAP PI REST Polling scenario
PI REST Adapter - Polling a REST API
We would like to frequently poll hiring information from Recruitment System REST API
We have two options in REST Adapter polling in SAP PO:
Option 1: Incremental request based on timestamp of last call
Option 2: Incremental request based on response content
Can we combine these two options
Is there any custom way of handling below HTTP polling scenario. I am trying to get candidates from a Recruiting system and I need to pass below values in URL:

1. So my variables are "start" which would be the next starting index. As the dataset is huge the Recruitment system has put a cap of max 500 records in a call. So if there are 2000 records in total then my start index would be i.e. 1...501...1001
2. datestart would be the last time I ran this interface
3. dateend would be current time
I tried the incremental count approach but how do we handle both incremental date and nextPageToken ?
Also if I use next Pagetoken the API response doesn't carry a page index or current page or next page token.It just returns the total no of records, so I have to loop and get all the records and in each call I would get max 500 records.
- If we are iterating the records page by page, say we have 2000 records and max we can get in one request is 500, the 4 request call will be as below:
